I think this one is the most interesting Mech so far among the yet to be released Unseens because all of its hardpoints are high mounted (unlike the Jäger)! And all of these hardpoints are ballistic and energy type which matter the most for our current version of the game (subject to change).


RFL-3N + (S) "M3t4 Tryh4rd"
  • ​1x Gauss (3t of ammo), 3 LL - Sword and board build
  • Endo, Ferro, XL255, 10DHS, -1t of armor
  • 75.7kph, 42 Alpha, 37% Cooling
  • Modules: Gauss CD, LL range
RFL-3C
  • see RFL-LK
RFL-5D "Laserman"
  • 2x LL, 6x ML
  • XL290, 19DHS
  • 86.1kph, 48 Alpha, 33% Cooling (has 49% cooling if you don't fire the LL)
  • Modules: ML CD, LL range
RFL-LK "Mini Misery"
  • 1x AC/20 (3t of ammo), 2x PPC - Sword and board build
  • Endo, XL255, 10DHS, -0.5t armor
  • 75.7kph, 40 Alpha, 31% Cooling (hot!)
  • Modules: AC/20 CD, PPC CD
Any idea for other builds? Let us see yours!

BTW I might have made some mistakes so I'm sorry if there's any!


EDIT:
Some observations regarding Jäger vs Rifleman:
  • Jäger is a better platform for pure ballistics because of that 5 tons.
  • Rifleman is a better platform for ballistic+lasers combo because of hardpoint locations.

I was thinking about this but I guess the Rifleman chassis would be too big and slow to function like the Arrow (with the loadout).

XL Engine Energy boat:
  • 2xLPL + 4xML + 2xMPL+ 18xDHS + XL280 (83.2 kph)
STD Engine Energy boat:
  • 2xLL + 6xML + 19 DHS + STD250 (74.3 kph)
AC20/Gauss + Energy mix:
  • AC20(+4t ammo) / Gauss(+3t ammo) + 6xML + 17 DHS + XL280
Dual Gauss:
  • 2xGauss + 7t ammo + XL170 (50.5 kph)
UAC5s + lasers:
  • 2xUAC5(7t ammo) + 6xML + 11 DHS + XL255 (75.7 kph)

I'm not checking if you can really cram this much but it looks like a winner build!

Semi RFL-5D

It gets 4 more crits from lack of lower arm and hand actuators which is enough to fit 1 additional heatsink and 2 MPL.

STD version turns out to be pretty solid too.

Actually, the entire mech turns out to be quite good, cockpit level hardpoints, even torso ones, lots of hardpoints to begin with, shield arms without useless actuators. I'd say it's the best among the three (the other two being Marauder and Warhammer) so far.

Yes, it seems to be the best one so far. But 4 crits will only give you 1DHS and 1MPL since isDHS take 3 crits.

LB-10X Blaster RFL-3N
  • XL 285
  • 11x DHS
  • 2x LB-10X + 4T ammo
  • 6x Small Laser
LB-10s are bad. Deuce with it, bishes!

Alternatively, drop engine down to a 265 and swap SL for SPL and all of your weapon cool-downs will sync up perfectly.
