Maybe... please give the numbers directly, the slow counting up is hillarious for the C-Bills e.g. Takes AGES !

I was about to comment on this... It's actually pretty funny...

Now if we can just get it so I don't have to keep playing against freaking clan 12-mans

Went into CW and realized once again why it sucks. I so want it to work but it so heavily favors clan style long rang lazers that it isn't worth the time to play. Try some maps that require brawling.

As a Clanner running both - long range laser builds and shorter ranged brawling loadouts - I can tell you that CW does not "so heavily favors clan style long range lasers". Your problem might be the almighty puglandia syndrom. Get close to cERLL spamming Mechs and they are pretty much dead.
I have enough screenshots saved where even PUGs defeated Clan premades and Clan PUGs defeated IS premades. Teamwork is the key.
Btw: try brawling as a Clanner. In most builds your Mech will reach critical heat levels pretty quick.

That 3000 match score.

Is this cumulative score or do you have to hide not to lose any mechs?

My only beef - FIX the event counters to spin up totals in this century please.

Yea... but that doesn't explain PGI's fascination with that "visual number crunching".

just a heads up to PGI, the progress counters (circle things that show % of your progress) are extremely slow for the bigger numbers.

I want some of what you are smoking, because either you don't know how to fit your mechs...or you've never seen the amount of LL spam the IS have, over Clans.

Might be difference experiences, but IS have more mechs that do the LL spam more than clans, whereas on my side it's always been a bit more brawly ( gauss and ERML works at almost all ranges!). Even then, there's some IS mechs which are really good at brawling...When you've piloted both sides, you'll know. Lower duration, lower heat, longer ranges, all due to quirks, makes them so much better for poking.

Plus - in CW, teamwork always matters a bit more, combined with a good team running meta mechs ( more important on the IS side), that will win you the match. CW is a team game, so grab a few friends, find people, and shoot the other side enough.

I welcome CW events, once in a while, its good to stomp the pug's faces with a full 12 man, especially when they bring their puglandia mechs into CW. Free goodies for doing CW...I'll take them, thank you very much, PGI.

I gotta say, these prizes are really nice, and great idea on the cumulative scoring.
I feel kinda lazy when I remember the hideous wait times of CW but I very much want those MCs and mechbay...

I actually like this challenge, it will probably not require 4 days of unlimeted grinding to complete. :)

Looks like a loong bloody CW weekend for me..

Hope my unit will be active.. cose' I don't much feel like pugging against 12-mans..

But i do think that 3000 match score for a 300MC mech bay compared to the 10.000 damage for 500 MC is a bit excessive...

Seriously.. for an average player... 3000 total match score is like 30+ cw matches, witch means minimum 15+ hours of gameplay..

10000 damage is for an average player doable in about 15 matches..

But the prizes seem great, and I'm thankful we have an event.

Will definitely play as much as possible.

I'm trying to join CW matches from time to time. After 30min in lobby I usually quit.

I haven't played CW since looooong before the reset, and I'm not sure why I have even been playing Stompy Robots Online the last couple of weekends, but I'll gladly take a few 'Mechs not designed for CW into PUG drops in order to eek out some pixel points over the weekend. Sounds like something akin to fun.

yep, which is why you're best in poke wars, whereas we're best in brawls.

It's cumulative!!! This is an excellent change! Also, minor typo on the Tournament page: every entry says "Challange".

Come on guys, give this little counter at least the chance to finish his job.
At the moment he needs 100 years to count up to that big numbers.
If I would be this little counter I would be pretty pissed and unsatisfied.

Wow, you had me think for a fraction of a sec to actually consider to play CW. But no thanks. Not even close.
