The model is based on Parman01's pdf and pepakura files, which can be found here:

This model has been modified in a few ways, namely:
Articulated paper joints in the hips, shoulders, and elbows.
The hips have been altered to give it more of an open stance.
Every surface over 2 cm has been reinforced with cardboard from the inside for added strength and stability. Also the 1 sheet thick details have been buffed with cardboard to better represent armor. The complete model weighs in at 100 Tons... I mean 200 grams.
Also some detailing was added to match the in game model better for example the four strengthening bars on the AC20 barrel.
About the building process.
I've printed the high res pdf files provided by Parman01, as the pepakura file cannot handle high res textures on 180g/m2 non glossy office paper.
Construction commenced based on the pepakura file.
Parts were first scored with a blunted knife on a bed of paper, in order to make the score sink and allow for the cleanest fold possible.
Once scoring was complete, I used a scalpel to cut the parts on a cutting mat.
All the sides and edges of the paper as well as fold where necessary were colored in with a felt pen of the appropriate color, so that the model has no white lines what so ever.
Subsequently all load bearing parts and parts spanning over 2 cm were reinforced with 0.5 card stock from re-purposed pizza boxes.
Gluing was done with an acetone based glue to avoid wrinkles and loss of structural integrity to the endo steel that can be caused by water based glues.
All the articulated joints are based on solid tubes of rolled up paper, fitting tightly into dense rings of more rolled up paper.
