Well, more like I mentioned it, then the next day I told him to go sign up and he already had lol. Even if the game ends up sucky ( I don't like the not being able to pick who you're fighting against, what if we reform GR and wanna smack around some old PS , but hopefully they are going to add that option), it will be cool BS'in with some of the old players. I know GR has Hill, Robmore, and me on here. I emailed Rigs and Mojo, but both emails bounced back as bad addys now. I gotta feeling Eyes will show up, just a matter of finding him. One of the guys here at work is in touch with Slortnoc. Now just need Cobra, AA, and a few more lol. Maybe Allied can track down Dark Dante, Black Feather, and some of the old NOTRT since he was netmeching before me and knew those fellas. Dang that'd be sweet!!

I think Hill said he is in touch with CH. Rob said he is signed up for Beta, but dork didn't tell me his name lol. I'll have to email him again. Also been trying to remember Slortnoc's name since he lives here, couldn't remember and yesterday out of the blue one of the guys said his name lol. So I will be trying to get in touch with him soon also.I got 4 gigs of RAM for anyone that can track down Mojo and/or Rigs too!

LOL, spend 4-5 nights a week with them for as long as I did and some are hard to forget Plus how can anyone forget the GR members... Simply The Best
And I do happen to have links to most of the old MW2 clans pages. And I can proudly say that it seems the GR message board is the ONLY one still functional! See, even bravenet wouldn't mess with us. I can hear it now..... "ok, go pull the plug on that old board"... "he!! no, them guys are bad a$$, YOU go pull it!"...."um no, maybe we can just better leave it up".

I also teased my 17-year-old daughter that I could not install Ghost Bear's Legacy: BattlePack Edition alongside it because she damaged my disk for that....back when she was TEETHING. She looked at me solemnly over the table and said "Dad, the only thing sadder than a nerd is an OLD Nerd."

Thanks to both you and my daughter for reminding me that the good old times are back in the form of MWO. If only I had the time to enjoy it more, things would be GREAT.

I too am a "old" Mechwarrior Returning to MWO. I played Netmech Dos over a 14.4 dial up conection. and thought I had a screaming conection at the time.
My Call sign is and ALWAYS has been Kromm. Or from back in the day as it was displayed in Kali <WD>Kromm. The WD stood for Wolf Dragoons, A Merc unit that I was the leader of.

Played a lot of MW2 with Super and Coolhand. If this was in '99 I was about 13 years old and I was horrible. Sometimes I would drive / aim and my brother would be in charge of torso twist and reverse button.
