Srsly,

Small feature. Huge gain.

I re-suggest this one every now and then.

Let me browse Facebook while my group mate is waffling between whether he wants 3 tons of gauss ammo or 3.5 tons of gauss ammo.

Nah, other way around. Make READY the default and have people UNREADY, when they need some time for whatever. MUCH faster.

there is absolutely no reason to unready from a "ready" state. also, ready as default would create havoc with a "autolaunch" option... imagine autolaunch is on, after every match your team plays... instacontinueNOBACKSIESEVERLOOP!

- "Autolaunch when all players ready" should be ON by default.
- "Commit to Ready" should be ON by default.
- "Autolaunch delay" should be OFF by default.

- Default ready state should be "not ready".

Autolaunch and Commit state should be visible by all players in the group

slightly more detailed:

- Ready "commit" checkbox.
when checked: players press ready and can not switch back to unready: the mech selection is committed. NO BACKSIES!!!

- "Autolaunch when all ready" checkbox.
Launch as soon as all players are ready... for the reasons mentioned by Niyata above and so many more.

- "Delayed autolaunch" checkbox
so the team leader has the option to be able to abort a launch, just in case...
