I was in my Wolfie and this fat ugly ******* just didn't want to die. Luckily a second light showed up and we could apply the chainsaw on him. Heck, they are monsters now. I am glad that they are tanky like hell. I always imagined an Atlas to be like that from the novels.

Well aware! I have 8 Atlases and pilot them regularly. My AS7-K is one of my favs to pilot. Before the patch I have had matches like these. However, I had to hide in the back and guard my torsos and play more reserved. Not hiding anymore because the damn mech can take a hit again!

The question is now: who would win in a straight up brawl? An Atlas or a Dire Wolf? Atlas can take the hits, Dire Wolf can deal the damage. Seems like it's not as clear cut as it used to be, which imho is good. I like a little uncertainty

Well, my atlas's Alpha is just shy of 100 points of damage, And im frontloaded(all bar like 4 points of armour on the front)...deals really well with anything in front of it, not so well on the rear ofc..but its a beast.
