A turntable would be a really nice addition to the Mechlab when it's time to add camo be it patterns, colors or soon decals. Some color changing paint only really shine when you see the mech move.

A start/stop button and rotating speed cursor is all what we need to make great video presentation of our collection.

P.S. Above animation taken from Rak's review of the Top-Dog to give you a better idea how it would look. Of course, animation would be a lot smoother too.

I forgot, don't forget to add a kind of option similar to SHIFT-F11 which clear everything else on screen (menus, informations boxes, etc.) so only the mech spinning can be admired.

Turntables? Sure, why not. But only after more urgent things like:

Ok looks like I was the only one requesting this so I came up with my own turntable.

Ever hear of 'mech spinning? I'm a mech spinner. I sit on my main screen spinning my 'mech while I talk to players, coordinate teams, set up scrims, complain about pgi/ talk about which 'mech pack I'm going to buy off them next, all kinds of things.

They already have this.

I don't really care if they do or not, but I think they should be able to carry the main screen spin effect over to the camo/paint screen pretty easy. And if it makes players happy why shouldn't they?

OOOOooooohhhh.... because they did. Just grab it with your mouse and spin it yourself. 8\

WOW, did my suggestion 2 years ago just made it as MechLab 2.0? Posted Image

Hopefully there will be a clock displayed in the new MechLab.

Since my original post, I made many turntable. I wanted to post them all here but that would make it a bit on the heavy side for slower connection so I'm sharing only my last one.
