[Warchild Corsair]

The Phoenix Legion Mercs has one week of fighting left - we would like to know where the loyal Marik House units need reinforcements. We do not have the numbers nor the logistics to fight on both fronts.

Where do you want the Legion to fight - at the Davion front or the new Liao front?

The 1FWG will continue on the Davion boarder. We believe the cease fire is still in effect and it is just rouge units that will be dealt with accordingly.

Continue to fight Davion...

Liao wants to ghost drop planets let them, don't give the mercs fights.
They shouldn't even be attacking us so don't worry about it.
Let Phact slide it was in the middle of Liao planets if they do it again then we will rethink what to do

Just because you asked one or two units to not attack you that doesn't mean their is a "ceasefire"

House Liao as designated Marik planets for invasion and the mercs want their pay for their mission. You can't tell mercs "dont' attack this" and "go fight the clans" when their is a more lucrative opportunity to make more cbills by attacking a poorly defended marik planet. Mercs go where the money is

Good news! House Liao has hired a great deal many more mercenaries to defend and assault the Davion border! With their continued assistance, we will continue to drive back the unwelcome advances of Hanse Davion's progeny.

As you may have noticed, many of the newly hired units are extremely enthusiastic. When the Federated Commonwealth fails to offer adequate resistance, these mercenaries may find their way to the House Marik world designated for joint Free Worlds League Military and Capellan Confederation Armed Forces joint exercises. Should you choose to engage them in spirited competition, I'm certain the practice will be beneficial to both sides.

Should the Chancellor's new employees accidentally break something in the process, such as the local Free World's League planetary government, please let us know! We can always discuss arrangements for suitable compensation later, should it become an issue.

Meanwhile, I encourage everyone to stay focused on the important things in life: shooting Davions and getting paid!

We want to play a game with some interesting background plots and not just FFA PUGing or Unit vs Unit matches with no consequences. Battletech has fractions and these fractions have a story - even when that story is not fully implemented in the current phase, people want more than just a fancy logo to their avatar when joining units and fractions.
Fraction fights, treaties, diplomacy and politics add something to this game and make it rich beyond the casual pewpew on random maps.

Shouldnt you Marik loyalists let merc units deal with attacks from Liao pugs and units that didnt agree to ceasefire (or they just dont even know that that kind of a deal is made) while you are fighting the big fights ?

Precisely this. We have the revolutionary belief that Mercs should do what their employer pays them for. Or in other words: you pay, you decide. Satisfied employers guarantee a good MRBC rating and better contracts in the future. Merc life.
