I have shelled out for a Legendary, for this account, and I have a Veteran founder too, which will stay IS when I eventually go Clan, bought the founder on that one, just to show /support for the company, and the pocket change for the mech shop is nice too

While the forum thing is nice, I shelled out for the legendary, because BT is such a big part of my life, that I wanted to support the game all I could.

i got legendary but i had to dip into my yearly tattoo fund to get it,
but luckily cus i use the same tattooist i was still able to get said tattoo
because repeat users get discounts

Same here. I guess we are the same as most people who buy cars. Some want the car with the least options available to get it at the lowest price possible. Others want the car loaded with heated/cooled leather seats, NAV, the biggest engine available and the best stereo. I used to be in the first category, now I fall into the latter category.

So, if I buy Legendary Founder status, do I get a say in what additional mechs are included? Because I'd like to see a lot from the previous MechWarrior titles. MadCat/Timber Wolf, Thor/Summoner, Puma/Cougar, Cauldron Born, Uziel and maybe even Shadow Cat would be great additions and I would happily fork over $120 to see them in-game.

What you see is what you get. But there is going to be added content forever so we will probably see some of those mechs.

Having bought elite I think it is fine that other people pay for possibly more development Personally I dont even know if its the best way to support the genre. They dont really promise anything in return. But then again, Im a bit cynical when it comes to buisness. And I dont have the excess money to just support anything I fancy.

I went Legendary because I'm an old Battletech geek. Oh the many hours I spent filling in circles as a child.

Here's hoping they can bring back some of the nostalgia and give me some fun gameplay.

I for one am disappointed

Each wipe we got 13,000 Mc to spend. now with the founder packs bonuses i find for supposely $40 in game cash i get a measly 10,000 extra mc.

How the hell is that supposely going to buy 8 medium mechs? Paul was quoted in the ask the devs twitter how far $40 worth of in game cash would go and it was said 8 medium mechs. For 10,000 MC i can buy only 4 medium mechs.

now as for pay to win, well this is where i wonder if people realise you can spend MC on pilot experience, this will let you start with module slot on 1 mech.

Just about to buy my awesome and have every pilot experience unlocked and moudle fitted before i even play my first game, Yes i already played since the founders went into the closed beta so i know which mech i want but i thought pay to win wasn't an option??? sure feels bit like it to me

I bought legendary to support the game. The last Mech sim I played was Chromehounds on the xbox 360. It was awesome but it was on a console, so no mouse and keyboard and they eventually shut down the servers.
