The MS forums show that 77th GG is leaving MS to do their own thing, so they are in transition since Aug 30.

Hey Mercstar!

Some of you may already noticed: The 77th Grey Guards are no part of Mercstar at the moment. Our leadership decided to leave MS and form a new unit. You may ask why? Yeah good question... A lot of the 77th had the desire to restrengthen our teamplay and reach back the level we once had. I want to be honest there: In my opinion we could have easily done this as a part of Mercstar. But yeah.. lets see where our way is taking us and maybe we are returning to you.
I want to thank especially Soaq for all the help we received from him and all the awesome people like Tom Sawyer who managed to make a lot of CW drops a fun time.

I wish you guys and girls all the best and I hope that the 77th who are staying with Mercstar still are welcomed. Good luck on your future drops and keep rolling Mercstar! You are one of the best teams in whole fkn MWO!

I've read through the thread and thought it all sounded interesting...was just wondering if the 77th is still recruiting and if so, how much of a rookie you can be to join up or how much experience it's expected that you have?

And yeah you can be a rookie... most important is that you show up regular and accept the points we are trying to teach you. Also you should have a Clan dropdeck and an IS dropdeck.
