2 AMS is enough.

3 AMS is pointless thanks to the flaw in the antimissile system.

Each AMS will target the same missile

3 AMS aren't 50% faster on killing a missile then 2 AMS are.

The tonnage and ammo consumption isn't worth a 3rd AMS.

IF AMS will get smart one day and start to target seperate missiles, then having 3 will might actually do something.

Currently, if an LRM 5 comes from the Left and an LRM 60 comes from the Right.

All 3 AMS will target the first missile out of the LRM 5 "volley" then the 2nd missile, then the 3rd.

AMS is to stupid to point one AMS at the LRM 5 volley and the other 2 AMS at the LRM 60 volley.

That said, if you want anti missile, you want dual AMS + AMS range + overcharge. Not 3 AMS.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

But, u guys is doing it all wrong.

3AMS is like a toddler with 3 blankies.

Since you are new ill give you this advices if you REALLY want to troll LRM boats.

1. Buy a Locust E
2. Buy an XL190
3. Die many many many times but learn from it.
4. Since Puglandia is survival of the fittest - you can sneak off solo or in a 'wolfpack' and search out enemy LRM boats
5 Get you a nice Solo kill!!!
6 While doing so, learn how to pilot better
7. Join this Cult, eh, group

I mean, why rely on a passive waste of tonnage(AMS) when you can walk tall and strong as a Locust pilot???

That toddler is gonna have to grow up into a man/woman sooner or later, why not do it with some balls?

Yes this is a PSA.

Do you have some numbers to support this? My testing in the field doesn't seem to match your results.
