Ever wanted to know what it would look like if Minecraft played Mechwarrior?

Wonder no more! I've dropped my own Minecraft Character right into the cockpit of the Mad Dog and played through the first Clan Wolf Mission. Enjoy!:

You might consider trying to avoid contractions - you are, after all, supposedly a Wolf warrior. There are other quirks to clan speak, but avoiding contractions is the easiest and most obvious rule.

I think there actually is a mechwarrior mod in Minecraft. It has something to do with Flans mod, where you can pilot mechs, tanks, and aircraft and stuff. :)

That's also why I used the Pyre Light soundtrack, since it's the one that played when you did that mission (sort of just wanting some of that nostalgic back.)

I've had a couple of people ask me now how I did the recording/cinematics in mechwarrior 2. So to answer it quite simply, I used FRAPS for screen recording. In MW2, hit "C" (external camera), and F11 to hide the HUD. Now, hold Shift, Alt, and Ctrl, and type ''tinkerbell''. This creates the free floating camera that can move around like a spectator, and you can now use it to create the cinematic. Move it around as you wish, and walk the mech around, and you can make your "own" movie.

Oh, forgot to say, I used dosbox to run MW2.
