Has anyone tried this? I'm wondering if it's a good fit for MWO.

I kinda wish that I could say yes, but it really depends on how the interface was written.

If it was calibrated such that rocking the rudder a certain amount would turn the mech at a certain rate, then I could see a point in it - fine control over the mech's legs. But if the game only permits maximum turning rate to left or right, or not turning at all, then no.

Forwards and backwards would be subject to the same reasons as above.
