Hello everyone, for the next several weeks I'm going to be hosting a special event of my own. Next month will mark the two year period of being in the MWO community. Despite the bumpy development of the game and the often heated debates here (including my own sour behavior in the past, of which I'm sorry for) I can safely say that I've had an enjoyable time befriending a lot of you, and just experiencing the dynamics of this community. It's been a very fun ride and I hope the future is just as fun.
So why am I calling it Search and Destroy? Well I'm going off the playbook of Scout Derek a little bit here lol. For the next several weeks, culminating on March 23rd (my birthday) I'm going to be dropping in a series of mechs, that members of the community can challenge and possibly defeat to get into a 1v1 death match with me. I'm not doing this to prove a point or anything like that, I just want to enjoy some 1v1 duels with the lot of you. I'm no Proton or Slummy, but I like to think I can put up a good fight.
The Rules:
Beginning on Feb 6th I'll be dropping in a series of mechs that must be defeated. There's no real purpose other than to add some flare and fun to this.
- To be accepted for the challenge, upon seeing me in a match you must say "Sigilum Sanctum, I challenge you". I will then respond with "Challenge accepted, you face 'insert mech name here'
- Only one challenger will be accepted at a time, which will be the first one I see to say it in All Chat
- Team kills don't count
- Match Victory is not required
- The mechs used in the subsequent 1v1 duels MUST be the mechs we used in live match where you killed me. They must also use the same weapons loadout
- If you win the 1v1, you will win one of the prizes
- Multiple challenges will be allowed if you don't win the 1v1 duel. Keep dropping and keep finding me.
- If we drop on the same teams, score a damage value higher than mine to receive a 1v1 invite.
The prizes up for grabs will be 5 Kodiak Standard Packs. However if you have already bought one, I'll be happy to switch it out for a different mech pack of equal value.
If the prizes are won quicker than expected, I'll see about adding more, I'm not made of money however, as I'm funding this with some spare tax funds whenever they hit my account. I'm definitely going to try and keep this going if at all possible.
The Bonus:
Since I will be dropping in group queue as well, sometimes I will be dropping with my brother, Sigilus Sanctus. When doing so we will both be in Banshees. If you manage to kill me when we're both on the field, you will be invited to a 2v2 match. If you successfuly defeat both Banshees in the private match you will earn 1 month of premium time.
This has been edited to 2v2 after careful consideration.

I'll be recording gameplay all through out the event and after it has ended I'll make a compilation video of the live matches and the duels. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of you, and I hope we can have some good stompy fun.
My typical times for dropping are after 9:30PM Eastern US and all day Wednesday.
