Just finished a CW drop where it was an 8-possibly 12 man against us in a 4man + pugs. We got stomped, fine what do you expect with that kind of match. The thing that surprised me is they figured out hoe to shoot the dropships and damage our mechs before we could even see what was hitting us. In one instance a jenner dropped almost entirely stripped of armor. Why do you allow the Mechs to take damage inside the dropship?

The dropship hit boxes haven't been made solid (for whatever reason).
Its much harder than it sound as non-lasers have to guess which bay you're in.

probably should be a short invulnerability timer, but the win conditions need to be changes so that hiding in spawn is always a bad idea

I have seen mechs in dropships while running heat vision. Never suspected you could actually shoot mechs even before you dropped.

A certain well known large unit just loves to push Pugs back on their very first drop and then pick off players as they drop for the next three drops. Real classy act which I am sure does not help the retention rate of new players to CW.

When they come in for a drop, the drop bays are open - sometimes you can shoot up into them when the angle is right.

To be fair, when the match outcome is close, players will avoid the dropships as they are quite deadly. In other matches, the dropship is often the MVP.

The only thing deadlier than a dropship is two or three dropships.

What ever it is dropping in a mech that's less than 100% is infuriating. Don't even get me started on those pilots that bump into you when the match starts. Their mechs should simultaneously detonate for such treason!

Good. With the dropship changes making it so difficult to camp people, you must have been losing really, really, really, really badly to get shredded while still in the ship.

You should have thanked the other team for doing their best, despite overwhelming advantages on your end, to farm you and end the match more quickly.

overpowered dropships cant stop games from snowballing that otherwise would, it just creates more problems than it fixes

Had a drop a while back on Boreal in which an enemy mech was killed inside the drop ship, then simply hovered in the air for the rest of the match in its crumpled death pose. We were laughing so hard it was difficult to keep shooting straight.
