If the majority of people in a match want to play in first person, then everyone in the match will be forced into first person only. If the majority of people in a match want to play in third person, then everyone will be forced into third person only.
No separate servers, but if you can out-vote the people in favor of the other view, no one in the match will use it.
If that is the case, then I hope that we will be able to drop out of the game as soon as it starts without any negative effects, like your mech getting locked for 15 minutes. Again, this was marketed as a first person game and myself and many others play it partially because of that fact, forcing us to play otherwise is "bait and switch".

Are you saying that PGI are a bunch of master baiters?

This post is AWESOME! I think you are completely off base with your assessment, but the way you threw insults without actually saying anything was fantastic.
I think that there are many parts to this game that they are slowly trying to weave together and it takes time. I too wish that they could wave the magic code wand and make all bugs disappear and quadruple the content next patch, but that isn't happening. I am holding out for CW to make an assessment on whether this game is going to end up the way that I thought it would when I paid for the founders package. I still think that I have gotten my money's worth even if I stopped playing at this point.
Is PGI going to make mistakes, Mr. Perfect? You bet. Are there things about this game that I think could be different to make it more fun for me? Without a doubt. Is this going to be the game that you would have designed? By the intelligence that is evident in your post, I sure hope not.

Sirs;
The answer is simple; don't buy MC until the Community Warfare/Metagame comes online. Since many promises haven't been kept (third person comes to mind) the salient breaking point will be what those PGI MOST wants online with them - those NOT playing MWO NOW - see when the Big Show starts. Ok, founders and dedicated folks aren't the concern of the Developers, that's their decision. Ok, they can change their minds; it's their game. I agree with that. They can even say one thing then do a one-eighty in the interest of garnering more players; again, it's their game. But if they want money from me or anyone concerned about the way things are going, they'll have to earn it. I was told next month the Community Warfare would go online, so I expect that. After that comes 12 mans and the Clans. We'll see. If the game gets bigger, (more maps) better, (fewer crashes, HUD failures) and more playable (stop buffing and nerfing) then maybe I'll shell out some bucks.
Join me, let them know what players think.
Or not. Your call. I think they watch their financial statements more than they monitor these comments...

ok I read the post, thanks by the way . I can't understand most of the technical details but I get the point . all I am saying is I hope they resolve the currently existing bugs before they add more content and ( by extension ) create new bugs .

There's multiple teams at work on this game. There's a seperate team adding content and another team fixing bugs. When they add new content they're doing bugtesting in the background before they release it. They now have tools and specific builds they just recently developed (As mentioned here) specifically for this purpose. New content should produce very few, if any, bugs from this point on. Although, this is the point of us Beta testers. If we do find anything we should report it to them.
I can understand your frustration. Many of the existing bugs have been around since closed beta and persist to this day. Now that they have the tools to do much more tests rapidly I believe that things will get better Soon™.
On the flipside, I want them to continue releasing content more specifically Community Warfare. I've been biding my time specifically for this and am anxious to see what this brings to the game.

I'm still in the top twenty of their artists and haven't touched the game in years and would LOVE to give away realistic carbon fiber, awesome art, or even just the whole shark face WWII fighter look to my fellow players if you let me draw inside this game or upload custom decals somehow.
Stop being tight though and charging lots of money for colors, especially with decals, you do that and you will kill all creativity within the game and doom it to just being another failed online MMO.

Good lord that is the most F'd up system ever conceived by ape or man. I would love to sack kick the mental midget who envisioned that system.
