I'm pretty noob to BT universe, I started to read some of the books this week to try and learn better :< It's taking awhile i started with #1 but its the year 3140 something, where do i find books around the year this game is at..

Your reading the dark age books, Battletech started around the late 2800 with star leage then went into 3025 with the inner sphere conflicts. Afterwards hit the clan invasion of 3050, later in 3068 was the jihad era (i forget when it ends), then anything after that is dark age which is the books your reading.
