Hypothetical examples are hypothetical examples.
Obviously they wouldn't work now, (but thanks for pointing that out because even if we were mistaken that isn't something we would probably found out on our own very quickly!) however maybe you've missed it..being so focused on pedantic details and all.. PGI actually changes the drop weights sometimes - (what?! no wai!) and so builds that don't work now could work later when those weights change.
But yeah, thanks for your sage and timely input, don't know how we would have made it another moment without it.

Sounds like several groups are going FRR soon when I poke around.
Please do - I've got to think I'm not the only person who looks at the prospect of a faction full of players that understands and uses a synergy deck and thinks 'holy ****, if I play there the odds of my getting pugs like I did last match in this other faction are relatively slim'.
I'll be honest. My motives are entirely selfish. If FRR can pull this off and demonstrate how effective it is then I expect other groups to, sooner or later, follow suit. Literally shake some of the obstinate stupid out of CW as a whole. Playing a synergy deck requires intentional, intelligent decisions about what you bring and playing every match to a strategy. Those are powerful habits to build and they make all the difference in CW.
I hope you get everyone on board, I hope it's wildly successful and I hope FRR sets a new standard for a faction that stands on its own regardless of what merc units come and go. Players move around and they'll take that attitude with them other places and over time people will adapt to what clearly works and you'll drag the population average up.
Keep putting videos up. Let people see what it looks like.

This is the standard problem I've had with prtscr in MWO.
I will look for some program to do printscr.

It doesn't work in MW:O like it does in most games. It saves your printscr not to a copy/paste format but as a file under C:\Users\(username)\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online where (username) is whatever you're logged into your computer as.

I am a little confused, what mechs are being used in the drop decks. I lined up thunderbolts and now I may need Quickdraws instead?

3x thunderbolts, 1x blackjack is a dropdeck suggested for newbies. Because thunderbolts are durable and cheap to set up due to using standard engine builds, this is a quick way for a new player to afford a competitive dropdeck.
The Stormtrooper dropdeck on the other hand, which is what this thread and these special drops are about is 3x Quickdraws and 1x Black knight or Grasshopper. This dropdeck uses XL engines and focuses a lot on speed and agility, so it is much more expensive and skill intensive than the newbie deck but ultimately much more powerful.
So they are two different things.
