One with 4xUAC5.
One with 3xUAC10.
One with 6xUAC2 BECAUSE IT CAN.
And one with Gauss.

Yes! Information is ammunition! I can't wait to start killing slow mechs with bad hitboxes! Makes me HAPPY!
Though my TBR is a little jealous of the Dakka.

No. Not unless you don't mind having no room for DHS. Crit starved.
DHS are for wusses. 6-8LPL alpha ftw!
Cool off when they're dead!

It does not have any DHS. It has LSH.

Who knows what PGI will do with them...?

"Functionally identical to a Clan-tech double heat sink"
That said, I'd love for it to make a light show or aurora effect when hot!

and even if they weren't...the answer would be...."Nothing", lol.
Would be awesome to watch it overpower night and thermal vision at close range though... and of course draw a crapload of fire at night....

The head and side torsos are confirmed to be mounted VERY high, so it will be an excellent poker if all else fails. I also hope that the CT energy points are similarly high (please put them just under the helmet!) to create synergy between them.
This art piece makes the arm height look decent, but the 3D model could easily mess that up so I wouldn't bet on it.

I think that grey nodule under the sternum is the CT laser. Well... 3 out of 4 high mounted E hardpoints isn't bad! Also, if the E hardpoints are there in the ST, that means that's where the B side torso hardpoints will be, too!
I'm super curious to see what its torso design looks like under the arm. How compressed is it, or is it a bit of a fatty under that arm?

more important, the arms might make a decent shield depending on where the shoulder ends. I expect most people to stick ERLLs and LPL in the head and torso and have empty arms anyhow. It's the MWO way.

The Night Gyr actually won't be the best platform for pure energy loadouts because it has so few critical slots to play with. At least 1-2 big ballistics are almost mandatory if you want to spend all of your 38 tons before you run out of slots.

in the art, pretty compressed, in the ortho? Who knows-

Any way you pronounce the Gyr this mech still looks sexy but also a possible alternative to the Timber Wolf for clanners. The prime variant looks like the best with conducting meta. Either ERMediums and a Gauss or even the ERPPC and Gauss hopping mech it looks and sounds like it will be.
