So, happened to listen to an old song this day, and noticed how some words formed in my head.

I'll be singing this whilst riding the bear, it's absolutely gaudy but, with a special sense of humour, so much fun Posted Image

Here's the music:

And that's the text:

Just a steel forged mech on a Saturday night
Lookin' for the fight of his life
In the real-life world no one sees you at all
They all say you're crazy

Pounding footsteps to the beat of your gun
Spotting movement of a light
The fool just danced into the dangerzone
Where every enemy's reduced to dust

Your lasers cut them like a knife, when your finger tips the trigger
Glittering lances of light are the last thing they'll see

He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no....
And he's fighting like he never fought before
He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no no....
And he crushes them like no one did before

(Seyla! Seyla! Seyla! Seyla!)

On the thin red line of insanity is a place most never see
It's a hard-won place of mystery: touch it, but can't hold it.
You work all your life for that moment in time, it could come or pass you by
It's a push-shove world, but there's always a chance
If the hunger stays the night

There's a cold kinetic heat, struggling, fighting against the loss
Never stopping with your head against all odds

He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no....
And he's fighting like he never fought before
He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no no....
And he crushes them like no one did before

Your lasers cut them like a knife, when your finger tips the trigger
Glittering lances of light are the last thing they'll see

He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no.... (oh noes!)
And he's fighting like he never fought before

He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no no....
And he crushes them like no one did before

He's a Kodiak, Kodiak oh no no....
And he crushes them like no one did before

I thought about recording a cover, but since I haven't seen a stage for over a decade, I spare you all.
Especially since this doesn't fit my tonal range where I'm comfy. Isn't a big deal with some technique, but that's the point where "not doing it anymore" has it's drawbacks Posted Image

P.S.: Once I took a closer look at the text I realized how well the second verse fits the theme of a mechpilot, especially one of the warrior caste. Even for a secondliner like the Kodiak Posted Image
