I'm glad to see people use MG's on the Huginn instead of simply SRM boating. However, I wish this mech had an energy hardpoint or two. Running MG + SRM gets a bit old after a while.

Which is why my Huginn runs 2xAC2 with 4 tons of ammo. UAC5 + 2xSRM2 is also kind of fun, though not as good. I also ran 4xMG + 2xLRM10 for a while, but that got boring.

Future note to self: Never buy another hero mech unless it can potentially run more than one effective build.

Very nice, Good work keeping mobile and staying "Mostly" on target. Far too often I see light pilots stop to fire, usually resulting in the lights early demise. That's how you're supposed to pilot a light.

Again, well done EntertainEnterprises.

Those times when you went straight at the target without a vector made me cringe.

Remember when this thing dropped for CW? god those were the days, backstabbing timbers and the like with that thing in the dropzones.

Now we have the oxide which is TWICE as powerful.

That's the best build for it. I am sticking with the 3L though.

I bought both of them and First thought oxide is the better one but i noticed that huggin is better … maybe Not in light vs light but in dmg dealing

The Huginn is basically dead for me. They overnerfed him. Sure I can get a good game once a blue moon (read: when the enemy ignores me) and rake up kills and damage.

I don't mean that offensive I just had to chuckle when you call filling the only 2 Missile hardpoints "boating" (especially because it has no energy hardpoints and can basically mount only MGs) Posted Image Posted Image

What magical time of day did you play at where people just ignore you while hitting their back armor? I'm jealous

My impression is that the current Oxide quirks for turn rate make it relatively easy for the oxide the stay behind even medium mechs as they turn. The Huginn normally only gets the one chance to attack from behind before having to move away and re-engage.

in my opinion the quriks of the oxide are not that hard ... just 15 % cooldown, raven got 30%. yeah maybe the oxdide can get kills from behind more easily than the huginn, but in a fight as supporter against assaults the raven does a good job with the mgs.
