Thanks for adding the past match highlights to the Mechwarrior Online YouTube account also. Easier to watch and link to compared to Twitch

Oh, thanks. I also prefer YouTube to Twitch.

Now that the rules are finalized...
Um they are finalized right???

Anyways now they're finalized, players not in the tourny should be allowed to register new teams now.

yes, sure, we'll see 3 "for fun" team there in Vancouver in December ....

Then u wrote about pgi doing development so...

No, of course you won't. There are about 6-7 teams in NA with any actual shot. But that's not the point for a lot of these teams. This still represents a great chance for lots of teams and players to get some comp experience and grow as individuals and teams. Winning this tournament isn't the only thing in view for many participants, nor should it be.

What a joke , that tournament is a publicity stunt that wont change anything, still we will have a low population count in the end and have a Faction play unplayable. That E-Spurts thing was from the beginning a net loss ( words from Russ at some town hall ) instead on making the game something else than just skin and bones...

The game itself has good things going for it but they are so few that hardly retain players in, so much were hoping for a updated MW2 experience and is so far far away that most left or sticking around to see if it will happen. The game would be already dead if it wasn't for the Mechwarrior or Battletech franchise attach to it, good thing for PGI they got Alex around to sell those Mech packs.

got zillions of other thoughts but it been already written enough,MWO has to get better fast or just die ( sadly I think second is more probably gonna happen than first )

Stupid E-Spurt obsession.

What? "For fun"? Competitive play is fun for some teams, that's why they do it.

And yes, PGI does development. How else do you think the game is made?

Really enjoying the casts from Bandit and mdm. Thanks for putting in the time and effort.

As a new player I am even learning a thing or two.

The live streams have been interesting, I'm in no way a comp player so it's interesting to see the game in another way. Most of the games I've seen so far haven't been very close, but I'm sure that will settle a bit as the round robin concludes and the higher tier teams get paired up with each other more consistently.

I'd like to see a little more first person action in the coverage, as the free camera doesn't really show off what any given player is doing. Briefly switching to players in an important location/role to show what they're doing and the exact angles they're covering would be nice, then switch back out to the third person camera to show broader trends in the battle.
