Yeah I just looked over the quirks...and NOW I am happy I didn't pre-order them. Oh sure they'll be a leaderboard event next weekend probably, and maybe they'll be worth buying some them if the leaderboard ends up with GREAT prizes to achieve, but the mechs themselves...mech... just another 45 ton mech.

The summer grand prize... the 400XL engine... well not many mechs you can stick that in anyway...

Mechbays are now the "grand prize" (Radar Derp is feeling more meh these days, and 400XL engines are limited to a few mechs/variants). I don't see the value in my time.

BUT mech bays set as grand prize?? Thats bogus. They should be among the ordinary prizes IMO.

I have a strange feelings about the "Patch during Event Time" thing... (Beside the "Do not play on Patch Day" rule and the usually "Icomming Hot-Fix" stuff ...)

I imagine.. half the team goes out, to test the new features.. and the other half, still try to grab some Event Points...

DAMNIT, PGI!!! Haven't you learned your lesson about requiring 80 Match Score??? Unless you're now awarding Match Score for actually Collecting Intel Nodes, a Scouting Match played properly by the side trying to get away with the Intel is NEVER going to give 80 Match Score! Scouting is supposed to involve Stealth, which means you're NEVER brawling! This game is NOT BrawlWarrior, damnit! THIS IS MECHWARRIOR, a game where THINKING is supposed to be involved, NOT mindless blasting away at things! Go look at the older MechWarrior games already, and then re-gauge your Match Score Requirement for "Faction Play: Scouting Mode", because it should realistically NOT currently be higher than 50 Match Score at the absolute highest!!! You do NOT force people to brawl in a mode where Stealth and Thinking is supposed to be key to proper play!!! If you had NOT made that one mistake, PGI, then you would have had a perfect pre-review from me!!!

That's a fine question you've got there. Let's hope PGI either gives a choice, or has it completely randomized. If they're just focusing on IS XL Engines, there's going to be a serious uproar over only giving the IS XL 400 Model Engine. I can just imagine the anger from the Non-OmniPod, IIC-configures-like-IS-style Clan BattleMech owners now.

This game need more events like this and/OR more contents ( mechs arent )... guess one of thoses choices is at PGI hand-range but which ?

Exactly but u know.
PGI still dont understand that more they give mechbays, more people become addicts to grind mechs in theirs collections ( and addicts are better customers in long term than others sort of customers )
Me i did play like 2 years with only 4 mechbays ( and 2 exactly same K2 boomcats ) did never buy news mechs coze can't mastered them and K2 were really fine for me ( check signature )

I did my first MC purchase when PGI began to give mechbays in events and when i did got more than +15 i begin to wanna keep all my mechs in my collection.
Well i didnt buy lots of MC not because i am poor ( really not ) but because this game don't evolve and also don't deserve i encourage them to keep going in this way. Yea it was my 2cents story.

While you're right, there is free stuff, and then there is free stuff. The fact that Mechbays used to be a regular bag prize and now are the "grand" prize, added to the fact that they are actively ignoring the request for a MECH BAY SALE is a polite slap in the face.

Thanks for free stuff. But 400 Xl.. that's strange for me - 300-320-340 will be much more better then 400... Ok i'll add it to my warehouse coffer so it will be dusty there among other 'useful' things. And 80 match score for scouting? Really?..
