Hey guys,

Not sure where exactly to post. Also sorry if this has been covered and I'm just missing the threads already covering joining units, so I'll just be upfront.

Been playing MWO for about 9-10 months and have enjoyed the overall experience, but want to get started in FP to see if I like it. I've done about 450 drops, have 3 BJs, a Locust, a CN9 and an SHD-2K. I started with the BJ-3 and played mostly long range support (AC2/ERLL), but have recently tried scout and brawling play styles in order to diversify and "get gud".

QP is okay, but there is very little communication among teammates. I try to communicate with pugs, but usually no one is verbal about anything. I would like to join a unit to get into more organized and team-based play. Don't really care about IS or clan, so I figured I'd start out in a merc unit. Don't really care about unit size either, just want to join up with some nice guys who are willing to let a new player shadow.

I'm open to all input and suggestions and I look forward to hearing your responses.
