My brother bought a used Android phone, rooted it, and downloaded an app where he can move the GPS without moving the phone. He hops on WiFi, sits on the toilet, and LITERALLY tells the phone where its at. Hes collecting Pokemon, leveling up and all that jazz, at a very accelerated rate.

But that kinda... kills the point of the game.

They're also banning people that they find doing that...

Epeen and having the most, biggets and strongets justifies anything.

I succcesfully saw my GF throwing 8 pokeballs next to a paras.

And I saw my friend throw 60 balls just to catch one Pidgeot

I was able to make an account and get my starter pokemon with my kids. The servers have been down the few times I tried to fire the game up since then.

Yeah, the servers are wonky and the game itself tends to freeze sometimes.

But it's fun game ,nevertheless.

I think I am like 17 to 18 Pokemon caught already. Some are caught in the most unlikely of places, like inside restaurants, three at the post office, two inside my bathroom, three inside the supermarket, three inside the movie theater...

By the way, I am also a player of Niantic's previous game, Ingress as an agent of the Enlightened.

"in the movie theater" if I see some one playing Pokemon while Im trying to enjoy a movie I paid $28 for, Im going to grab their phone and toss it across the theater.

The point of the game is to "catch them all" isn't it? So it is in fact helping him achieve the point of the game. Hes been doing it since launch and no ban yet.

Up to 48 Pokemon now.

I can't believe I caught at least five Pokemon just sitting at one of the ramen places I go to. It so happens to be close to a number of Pokemon stops, and so while I was slurping my chashu ramen, the Pokemon show up in the phone and I catch them one by one.

In the movie theater, that was when I was waiting for the show to begin.
