I have to say I am really happy with the new decal system introduced in patch 1.4.79. So many combinations are possible with the new set of decals.
My WarHammr-BW is the first to sport a radiation symbol covering it's butt. This may become a new standard in MechWarrior decal placement =)
Looking forward to seeing the personal touches on mechs that this will bring.

why would you want a decal on your Mechs butt that makes no sense to me

Well it's not like you can see your own mech's decals outside of the mechlab anyway, except by using 3rd person camera. Which shows your rear.
Your rear is also where most team mates will be looking going from spawn, it's rare to see people check out a mech's front. And enemies usually have different priorities, like just shooting that front!
