MW4 is at the top of my list. MWO doesn't make it since its a dumbed down vs of mw4. and cost $1000's to open the game to mw4 level.

I am too drunk to think of my top 10 favorite games. The Mass effect games are definitely in that list, as well as the Jedi Knight - Knights of the old republic games.

I am also playing Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy at the moment. You can find all these games on abandonedware sites. But I stick with Pirate Bay and BitTorrent to get my old favorites.

I am re-visiting all of the old games I played in my youth, and I am practically sweating pure enjoyment from my pores. These old games are a damn good break from MWO. I hope to come back fresh and ready for pvp after I am done revisiting my past.

Maybe not a 10 best, but games that I remember favorably.

Homeworld (1,2,Sands of Kharak,... didn't care for Cataclysm, doesn't quite fit)

Half Life
Final Fantasy VI
Team Fortress Classic (I really miss those days)
Tribes 2
Star Wars: Tie Fighter (The MIDI soundtrack was awesome, I'd love to hear it actually orchestrated)

1. MechWarrior 2 (I still don't know whether I should put MW3, MW4 Mercs, or this one. They're all so good!)
2. Timesplitters: Future Perfect (I don't care what you have to do, play this as soon as possible! TS2 is great, as well)

Here's a few honorable mentions, while I'm at it: (along with my thoughts on each of them)

Torchlight--A really, really solid Diablo-style action RPG. Good graphics, art design, and gameplay.
EVE Online--I don't care what you people think, I've always managed to enjoy this game, no matter how many times I've returned to it. I've always loved the community, and the feeling of stepping into a completely different, yet fully functional world.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic--I've always liked this one. The story's kinda dumb, but the gameplay and level designs are cool as hell.
Metroid Prime--I couldn't resist. The environments and atmosphere are utterly amazing, along with the soundtrack. The only reason I didn't put it on the list is because I haven't played it very much. Still deserves mentioning, though.

Alien isolation is ok... but you cant jump for some dumb reason... let alone climb... something you could easily do in System Shock 2 back in the 90s!

i don't often say this, but The Witcher 3 is so totally worth buying at full price, any kind of sale is a gift horse.

That game has more content than any other single player I can think of, and every part of it's content is higher quality than any other game I can think of. Really spectacular, whether you're a "gamer" player or a "story" player.

Really, really amazing.

I finished Blood and Wine expansion the other day, and wow, what a brilliant experience. Even the expansion itself had more content and story than most triple A games out there.

In fact, I haven't encountered a single triple A game that can even come close to the Witcher 3 in content and ambition. It's not a perfect game, but CD Projekt Red has certainly set a bar so high that very few games can reach. Not only did they manage to create a large and beautifully crafted world, but they also managed to tell a story with some of the best voice acting and animations I have ever seen.

And the funny thing is, it is often on sale. The GOTY edition (all DLCs included) is only $69.89 CAD right now on gog.com (which is cheaper than some Mechpacks in MWO lol). I recently purchased Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for much more than that, and while the latter game is ok, it comes no where close to the Witcher 3.

I'd almost be tempted to buy a second copy just to support their devs .

I am most certainly not suggesting those are the 10 best games ever made but they are games which I really enjoyed back in the day, and in most cases I have replayed many times since (with most of them having been played in the last year)

I would have robocraft here or maybe in the top ten if it hadn't fallen down the path to hell.

That is actually most of the games I own, since I usually don get games I don't like and if its PC, I uninstall it.

PS: I wouldn't appreciate it if I saw people whining about mwo being number 1 on my list, as this is just my opinion, and if you haven't heard what I said earlier, I like most of my top 10 games nearly equally.
