Just want to clarify, do steam packs qualify for any kind of reward? MC purchase maybe? Are they just missing in announcement due to oversight of some sort? I can live with my investment in PGI not being appreciated, but I'm confused by complete absent of any info on said packs.

Looks like a big, violent, brutal "NOPE !" to me ... no mention anywhere ... and as far as I know, Steam gets the money from those packs, not PGI ...

Well, I'm in the "Steam Packs + Mastery Packs" camp, and again going by the only things mentioned in the news blurb about the future Loyalty 'mechs, I'm hosed for most of them ...

As far as I know, for the top-tier reward, you need to either buy a "Collection" at the 80 dollars level, or two "Collector" packs at the 40 dollars level to qualify ... there's a complete list of what and at which level the qualifications are somewhere in the text of the news item.

But I think that you have until September or so to make the purchases, and I know that everything bought since mid-october 2015 counts too.

The very lowest levels of rewards are really easy to get, for the "MCs" one you need to buy *any* pack of MC's once, so 7 bucks and you qualifiy (plus there's a sale on MCs at the moment).

Honestly, I'm new on these boards, but from what I saw so far, if it's not specifically mentionnned by PGI, it isn't included.

So, refer to the first post in this thread to know what is available after which purchase : http://mwomercs.com/...ewards-program/

Steam gets a cut, usually 30% but PGI gets the rest. No one would put their stuff on Steam if they didnt mqke money from sales.

Steam gets a 30% cut.

I bought the assault performance pack because I really wanted a King Crab and a Daishi but had no interest in the c-bill grind for 100 ton assaults. The cost of that performance pack: 60 bucks. Even with a 30% cut that'd come to $40, or the equivalent of a $20 premium collection of clan and IS.

I could care less about loyalty rewards themselves but it's the first time I opened my wallet for PGI since getting the Timber Wolf a-la-carte for obvious reasons and if they're going to say "Although we received the same amount of money from you as from other people who paid the minimum for this reward, sorry but you're not applicable"... PGI just might make me a bit salty again.

I'm very disappointed that PGI doesn't seem to appreciate their Steam customers.

I get a loyality reward for buying a 20$ mechpack but nothing for well over 100$ of Steam packs? (I have all the Steam pack except for the lights)

While it isn't that big of a deal (most of the loyality mechs will/would likely join my heroes gathering dust) it does have me thinking about reevaluting if I keep spending at the same rate and the status of my pre-order. After all appeciation is a two way street.

That cut is why the current Performance Packs are likely the only MWO "DLC" that will ever appear on Steam though. Catch 22 :/

Also please consider those poor people who spent way more than 80$ on standard+hero+reinforcement packs.
