Really? Thee MS on the same team? And I also know the 42 player is a top tier player.

Oh, and guess what happened????

Posted Image

How about that, another loss in 5 minutes. And to all you who are going to chime in "that it happens", please tell me the statistical odd of three from the same team landing in the same server on the same side. Yeah, I'd like to take those odds to Vegas. I'd be able to retire rich, if I didn't end up wearing cement shoes from cleaning out all the casinos.

Sick of seeing this over and over. I'm at the point that the only way I can enjoy this game it to create an alt account, spend $20 on the Kodiak basic pack, and go clubbing seals. You want that to happen? I see one more game like this...

Yeah, I'm done. Spew you white knight BS. I pray you end up getting games like this constantly like I do.

Matchmaker doesn't take unit tags into account?

Don't be a moron.

i have a feeling we would get better results if things were just random.

So go ahead. Do it. No one's going to stop you, not even PGI. If that's what it's going to take to get your jollies, go eat your heart out.

Someone lost the pug lottery.

Seriously though the overall quality of solo queue matches is just bad. 12-0, 2-12, doesn't matter. Waste of time and boring as hell.

Sync dropping in pug matches is something I frown upon, especially by these many people at once. They should have just stayed in group queue.

Dude, calm down. I'm the first to agree that the Tier system and MM suck, but did you look at the results.... Of the 4 people you complained about, two had abysmal scores, one did meh, and only one had a good game. Your team had a better damage spread than theirs, they just had two players who shined compared to your two potatoes. was it a poor position that screwed you guys?

We only notice the times when sync dropping works out in their favor. I have no idea of the odds. Though anecdotally, it does seem to have a fairly high level of success. And when it doesn't work, they likely end up against each other and have a competitive match which isn't a total loss for them.

PGI really ought to protect their MM algorithm from manipulation by actively allocating likely sync droppers to opposite sides of the same match or bumping them to the next.

isn't that one of the biggest units we have? And with maybe only 2k people playing (and I even doubt that) it's no wonder you get multiple members of one unit in a match. I usually comment that in chat and most of the times these guys aren't even in TS and play on their own (for what internet chat with strangers is worth, though).

Howeverwhat is with that 42 guy? He's a "top tier player" so he should not be allowed to play against you? What kind of tier player are you then? Posted Image

Here's a worse example. Why would the matchmaker put all four of these very good players on the same team in a PUG match?!

And noone remotely close to their level of skill on the other team?

Posted Image

Unfortunately I had to mask the actual names to observe the CoC. But let's just say they are players well known for being highly skilled.

So what? They didn´t even decide the game like in OPs example. Your Charlie Lance did just fine. Compare the Mechs, I´d say they had the better choices.
Both examples aren´t even devastating 12-0 stomps. Are you so far down the road that you already complain that matchmaker is not taking into account player and unit names?

I complain about people alphaing their small lasers on 700m appearing in my team as this is why MM is broken atm.

I don't even look at the mm screen anymore.
I just go and play. No need to worry about this or that player, just shoot and try to kill something.
Strange thing is I have better and more relaxed games now.
All I could wish for would be a perma ban list for ingame VoIP though...

It's a 12-5 loss that was predetermined from the outset by obviously poor distribution of very good players. That some opposing players managed to get a decent score before the inevitable loss doesn't make it any less of an example of poor matchmaking and a predetermined loss.

Way to completely miss the point. The matchmaker can't differentiate that these are very good players. That is the core problem.

Just a different symptom of the same issue.

Why are people who don't know the range of small lasers playing with Tier 1 players?

Because the tiering system is completely flawed, and so the matchmaker that relies on the flawed tiering system is clueless.

Just because you know these 4 names it doesnt say anything about the players in your team.
I am just saying you can´t go by names. Hey look at it this way: You were there to caryPosted Image but you didn´t

And still none of them carried the match or make a big impact beside that highlander. I'd even say that match looks pretty close.

9 people with less than 300 dmg is far from close when there's 7 assaults per side.

Synch dropping in solo queu at an all time high.

I wonder whats wrong with faction play and group queue that the guilds are synch dropping in regular queue?

Not likely a sync drop. I kept seeing other MS players in my drops and i was in channel with none of them.
