While I totally appreciate the final implementation of a long missing feature (dropdecks), the simultaneous removal of the 1+ minute mini-game is really sad - and unnecessary IMO.

Thanks for developing FW!

Yup, the only change to the one game mode I enjoy playing has essentially discouraged even more players from playing it. Gee thanks PGI.

When added to the fact I HATE QP with what can only be described as a borderline obsession, this one patch has almost sealed the lid on my playing of MWO. If this manages to dissuade enough players from even looking at the Faction tab it will kill off any chance of getting a game when it was already difficult enough, then I would be as well uninstalling the game.

So again, gee thanks PGI. Another good idea poorly implemented and only two years after it was asked for. Please, for the love of Kerensky, give me some hope that you are serious about developing MWO beyond "rinse-repeat"WarriorOnline. Consolodating buckets will not bring players into the mode, restricting choices without increasing the ability to plan will not make games more balanced, adding "bling" without giving us a proper game to play will not promote a healthy, growing and developing game population and community.

When will we get new maps and modes in FP? Please give me a reason to stick around, please?

I hope this gets fixed quick, it's going to lead to really stale mech selection.

What gets me is that the fixed DD is a good idea IF we knew where we were fighting before locking it down. It's akin to an elite special forces team getting loaded for a mission and not knowing where their going but being able to use their credit card to purchase extra webbing.

Sniper: OK Sarge, where are we going?

Sarge: Don't know son, better go with the x20 scope and a Beretta.

Sniper: Oh Kay, what about room clearance?

Sarge: No idea son, you can buy an extra weapon sling and bring a shotgun if you want?

Demo Specialist: So should I bring det cord or a TOW?

Sarge: No idea son, look I have no idea where we're going or if we're clearing a building or holding it. I can tell you we'll be in the plane for a while before we get there but untill we get there I know as much as you. Do you want to buy a magazine for the flight, only 10 bucks...

Sorry but I'm feeling a little depressed tonight :(

So we can't edit our dropdecks while in lobby, we're just stuck with the preset decks we entered with?

THAT'S AWFUL.

OK PGI so you added pre built drop deck's yet limited are ability to change our deck's more than we already are. So in essence your charging me money for less option's? How does that make any sense. Please leave the 4 deck's in and keep it so you can edit them until you drop like it was before the patch....... thx

I am okay with having to select one deck or another with no ability to actually change out individual mechs. That is how PGI will be able to entice others to purchase another deck or two.

I find it hilarious they have the audacity to charge 1200MC for an additional Invasion DD.

Milking that cow dry to the bone ey, PGI?

The thing is, if this had been implemented with Community Warfare nearly 2 years ago few us would have batted an eyelid. However it isn't 2 years ago and to basically fleece the small percentage of players still looking to get into FP rather than play QP leaves a bad taste.

I've played this game almost constantly for 4 years, stuck around through the various "dramas" and tried to offer feedback and suggestions to get the main feature that drew so many Founders in to actually be a game mode worthy of the title. I'm not saying this is the straw that broke the camels back but its certainly the glass of milk that squeezed the cow too hard, this is one cash cow that's had enough.

I can't justify to myself spending anymore cash and if FP dries up with noone wanting to play, then I may end up just quitting all together. Something I never thought I would consider :(

If they do not fix this, I'm quitting the game.

I have 120 mechs CW ready. I did not build these mechs so they could not be played.

This didn't even come up as a bullet point from the round table.

Why you do this PGI?

what was wrong with DD that they had to change it? I think maybe PGI devs just sit around a table and the first idea that comes out everyone is like "yeeeaaa!! yeaaa! that's a good idea" (when its not).

"How do we squeeze more money out of the players?"

" nerf one feature and make them pay for a weaker version of it Nd call it an update. "

"jenkins, you're brilliant!"

"Bring in the shrimp platters and cuban cigars!"

" harrumph harrumph harrumph!"

Once more PGI, 1 step forward 2 steps back. Why am I still surprised at what you guys do? This is a total MC grab on your part. People would have bought your extra decks with out sinking to such a new low.

I now cannot pick the mechs per planet section. So now I have to drop with mechs that do not match the map.

Explain to the crowd funders how this was ever a good change?

If you could not make this change without getting rid of the ability to change the decks on the fly, you should not have implemented the new drop decks.

This was a very poor choice....again

(and yes I understand that this will force more ppl to buy more Drop decks but that only works if you have ppl playing).
