I usually use the same 4 mechs most of the time when playing CW so I am not really salty about this but it could rustle some jimmies with other people.

There are conflicting reports over whats the bug and whats the feature....

here is the feature in particular



I'm told this button allows you to edit your current dropdeck during the countdown (if you are in a group).

Is this a bug in which you forgot to put a edit button in the countdown area or is this a bug in which you forgot to check if we could make it to this pencil button through the social tab after a match kicks off?

It makes no sense. So, if I understood correctly, if I am in a group I can edit my dropdeck untill the last player join (and if I'm in a 12 men group usually you have smaller wait times) while if I play solo I cannot edit anything when I get in the scouting/invasion queue? No sense...

Yep this whole drop deck thing is yet another debarcle in the plight of FP.

I just do not understand who is making these decisions and how they can logically be thinking it will be a good idea for the game/community et al.

I seriously don't get it. Then add yet another failure of a minimap, two quite major game play issues IMO.

You can open the "Social" window while in a lobby IIRC.

It doesn't make any sense to lock the drop decks since prior, we had the ability to modify them.

I'm beginning to wonder if the bug/mistake was that the "edit" button is simply missing from the Lobby Screen.

Either way, the lack of a response is concerning.

PGI does not care if they lose people in Faction Play. The lack of effort put forward on it shows a complete and total disregard for this part of MWO. The choices PGI is making of where they want to focus there limited resources is mind blowing to me and a large number of people I speak with.

There is no way this should have happened to our drop decks IMO unless they intended to completely remove the option from us to modify our decks at the last minute. To then spur on drop decks sales at the ridiculous price they are charging.

To take a month to fix this is a total slap in the face to everyone wanting to play in FP. To make little to minimal effort on something that a lot of people feel is driving themselves and others from the game just wrong.

IS there is so few of us left in FP now, that PGI could care less if we pull the plug and leave MWO?

Should we be thankfull that it isn't taking a roundtable, months of development time limited player updates and just generally bad community handling like the rest of FP?
