I am looking to play a little mw4 mercs with real people. If anyone is interested maybe we can set up a time to fight.


If you don't have MW4 Mercs, it takes like 10 minutes to download.

yep, lemme give you the full rundown.

No installation is needed.

Download it

Extract the contents to a folder (can be anywhere).

Find the .exe (MW4 mercs/base/MW4Mercs) and make a shortcut for it.

Open the properties of the shortcut, and find the "Target" box. (where it reads the target location of the shortcut). At the end of the line, add this /gosNoJoystick with a space in front of the /. It will look something like this.

"blablablablablab\base\MW4Mercs.exe" /gosNoJoystick

Once you have that done, go ahead click the compatibility tab. just run the compatibility troubleshooter and let it choose the options for you. bam done.

I am playing this on windows 10 right now btw, I'm on the mission "Styk Assasination." So I know it works on windows 10, if there are any problems, I would enjoy helping you sort them out so you can play this game.

It won't run on my system, i get a vid card, not compatible error. I do have an old WIn2k Machine that i am getting running with a new HD, i just need to track down old mother board drivers, along with some Detonator drivers for my ultra high tech Original geforce 225

anyone know a good site for retro drivers from around 2004-5? I got an a-bit board with an anthlone 2600, was the comp i built to play SWG..

@JC Daxion; Check google and readme files in the download for command line modifiers, there are several workarounds suggested for various issues.

Isn't it kind of hard to go back to back to MW4 after MW:LL and MWO?

I'm not usually huge on graphic fidelity, but MW4 just looks so dated, and its weapon systems and terrain so limiting compared to what we have now.

If I could get MW3 or MW4: Mercs to work on my computer, I'd be playing them instead of MW:O. It's probably because my nostalgia goggles are strapped on tight, but I love both of them so much more than MW:O.
