Hey guys,

i finally got MW3 on my Windows 10 64bit to boot up, load all Textures / Modells correctly, and i dont have any graphic bugs ingame (All settings "maxed").

But I noticed something strange, the music is louder than anything else.
I cant understand what everybody is saying and that kills the atmosphere.

For better understanding, here is an Audio clip from my game (German 1.2)

At first, it sounds everything pretty normal, but than the music just keeps getting louder until the song is over.

If i lower the settings just a bit, i cant hear anything.

Hmmm interesting topic. I have the MW3 CD and Pirate's Moon expansion pack so I'll install and give it a run to see if the issue duplicates on my machine.

Have you tried the GP good practice of running in compatibility mode?

I found that adjusting the music volume bar very low and keeping the SFX volume bar at full produced the best result.
(Running Windows 7 64 bit.)

The issue with Mechwarrior 3 is that the music comes from CD audio tracks (a.k.a Redbook audio) and that is not supported very well in Windows Vista/7 and later.

You may also notice that when you finish a mission and start the next one the CD music starts to skip. You will then need to restart the game to fix it.
