A lot of games that I play nowadays are having performance issues even on the most minimum of settings, so I believe it is time to suck up my gut, open my wallet, and upgrade. The problem is that I don't know the first thing about new hardware in order to do said upgrading (I know how to do it, just not what to buy).

Here are my specs for those of you more tech savvy than I to consider.

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit
Language: English
Processor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 4096MB RAM
Page File: 2878MB used, 2624MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 12

Card name: AMD Radeon HD 6450
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6779)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Device Type: Full Device
Display Memory: 3828 MB
Dedicated Memory: 2036 MB
Shared Memory: 1792 MB
Current Mode: 1680 x 1050 (32 bit) (60Hz)

If there's something missing please say so and I'll get it up here. Any help would be appreciated.

i think its propably rather safe to assume that you may want to invest into entirely different hardware. seems like its pretty much outdated on every aspect, youd propably be able to get a much better system for little money, too.

your suggested components are still 3 years old performance wise.

I run an FX-8350, 2xGTX970 SSC, 250GB SSD for the primary drive, 32GB RAM, Closed loop cooler so I can OC the CPU tp 4.5 GHz (from the stock 4.0 GHz). I'll have this system for at least another 2 years and I'll be playing Star Citizen on it. Win 10 for Dx12.

I recommend using pcpartpicker.com to build your next rig.

here's a real economy build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Z78K7h

First, what is your price range? Anything around 1k will get you a really decent system.

Intel CPU i5 k version (OC ability), AMD or Nvidia GPU.

Go build you a Devils Canyon or Haswell Core i5 system. They're cheap right now. Get a 960 gpu, get 16gb of ram, water cool the cpu, buy a Samsung EVO SSD for OS and MWO, put everything in atleast a midtower, everything else is gravy. I could build a very decent machine that will play MWO in the 90-120fps range for about $500-600.
