Realistic though? I would almost guess a slew of mechs, not just one as well but there is a chance no Mk II....

I see on sarna.net that both sides used them. Why on earth did Clan Diamond Shark sell these to the Draconis Combine?

So the question still remains, would this be an IS or Clan mech? Or would it be the first chassis in game both sides could pilot?

PGI goes off the group that made it not who used it so it would be Clan.

The Dec mech will be a Clan mech because November is an IS mech.

Of course they could do both a Clan and IS and take Dec and Jan slots at MechCon for more "ooooo ahhhh" factor. Since they going gag seems to be overhype everything.

Considering I have a feeling PGI would get very, very confused trying to make it useable by both factions in FP/CW, I would place bets on Clan. We built it, and it runs Clan technology, so that is the only good option.
