Seriously, I just got out of a game where we had two KDK-3s, one had quad gauss which... Okay, I guess... and then another with quad MGs. Quad MGs. On a KDK-3. Wha...what...? Why would anyone do this...? This guy doesn't even have the excuse that a King Crab with MGs has of "I wanted to make an LRM boat". What is going on here?

Was it quad MGs with a pair of LPLs and a pair of ERPPCs or quad LPL ? The obvious reason would be limitless long range ammo and no ghost heat.

Not enough kontakt for the Russian military. They would need to strap at LEAST an Adder's tonnage in kontakt to make it perfect.

Well, I saw a grasshopper once with a single Large laser and an srm4 I think. Or the trollnova with 12 flamers and MGs. Or spiders. It is what it is, people do what they like.

And I have to admit, running a 6MG Jager with PPCs or LPL is fun.
