Last one for the day, I promise. I just posted this in reply to someone else, but have never seen it brought up as a feasible solution to Merc Corps banks/trading systems yet.

The middle ground to this might be allowing a market system within Merc Corps and factions, and to address PGI's fear of farming this type of system, simply charge a tiny (note I said TINY) MC transaction fee when you trade items to another player. That way farmers have to pay to cheat, and people who do it legitimately don't have to pay out the *** for parts they don't need.

I can get an engine (or stripped chassis, or weapons, or...) from my buddy for half the C-Bills (or whatever he wants to charge me) and 5 MC? That sounds awesome to me.
