I feared the 'narc missile beacon lock, aquired' message in GBL. But ya, I plunked down the mohaa caus of my love of BattleTech and hopes for this game.

I have been a huge fan of MechWarrior sense the first one. I have always supported the title and wanted to make sure it had my support now. I see this as a fun filled adventure that will never end. I always loved playing all the other versions, but was sad when I reached the end. Now I can keep playing and it will always be different. I chose the Legendary because I would love to see my name in any way associated with this title and lets face it the extra mechs and exp and cbills will not hurt.

I AM SO GLAD TO SEE MWO and wanted to just say thank you and you have my support.

Mechwarrior, I've been in it since the beginning, Crescent Hawk. I'll support any mechwarrior project I can to the fullest extent they make available to me.

Oh, I guarantee those guys are busting @$$ for way less than they deserve! My main thing is to show support for a game that REALLY requires some finesse to play, as well as what I consider one of the best developed universes out there. I could list a dozen other reasons, but I'm posting from my phone, so that might not be too expedient >.<

Because men like me do things like this.

We do some things people consider bold. Packing tons of armor and enough firepower to make a company of United States Marines blush is no small thing.

I'm not just a warrior I'm a mechwarrior. Just think of where Alexander the Great might have stopped if he had 40,000 mechwarriors.

Don't bring a gun to a battle, bring a battlemech to a battle.

Winners get to tell it like it was. Mechwarriors are winners.

So by all means strap yourself in for one hell of a ride and by all means, fight like you only get one shot to make the cut or be a grunt, even worse some civi.

Something about working for a for a very large software company and struggling to actually create one might have a wee bit to do with it.

Now get in your mech and head downrange as I'm getting an twitch in my trigger finger you no good bullet-catchers.

Just remember, when all else fails, make sure you let the other side do all the dying for their country by fire and manuver and one shot, one kill.

Well, I've always loved BattleTech/MechWarrior. Still play MW4 now & then.
I got the Legendary pack because I wanted all 4 Founder's Mechs. I didn't quite think the pack was as good of a deal, and I don't care one bit about having my name in the credits.
I mean, the $60 pack had a higher bonus value than the $120 pack, the $120 only has a 3-month sub, and the $120 doesn't even include any more In-Game currency than the $60.
But, I have all 4 Founder's Mechs and have supported the game development. :)
