Reasons I bought Legendary:

1. I liked previous Mech titles enough to know it will provide at least a few months of entertainment (more likely years, off and on). $120 is cheap for that amount of entertainment.
2. I wanted to support a game I am certain I will like.
3. Founder's mechs and other in-game goodies.
4. ePeen enlargement from having a legendary badge on my mechs and having mechs that others can not have (might as well be honest).

Because the voices in my head told me to; Spend your munnies they said. Battletech they said.

I debated whether or not to get Elite for quite a while. In the end I did, despite money being tight right now. I knew that if it was a decent game I'd rather support it a bit. But the Founder's packages are a much better deal for value for money than anything that'd be available later, so even if it's a bit of a risk not being sure what the game is like now and what it'll develop into I'd rather spend now than miss out. There's hoping PGI won't disappoint long-term.

As for why not Legendary... meh, I don't need a third month of premium nor three extra Founder 'Mechs, plus I wouldn't be able to afford Legendary at the moment anyway.

1) Support PGI.
2) Support the online future of BattleTech franchise.
3) I want my name in credits
4) Nice additional c-bills/xp, 4 mechs, n'stuff.

Battlemechs are like Cow Bells, you can never have enough Cow Bells.

Really just because it's the F2P version of a Collector's Edition and it seems pretty rad. I'm also pretty sure I want 3 of the 4 mechs so it seemed worth it to me.

Being a game developer of sorts myself since 97, Battle Tech has always been my first love. From a vast collection of original Fasa Corp. Items to trying to play every MW or similar game out there, I wanted to support the game development I have played for so many years, and yes having your name in the credits is a solid perk, even among thousands

Stupidly thinking preordering a game was a good idea.

Bottom line is I like having stuff, and this gives me an instant 4 mechs to start, nice perks and more stuff to be bought later. And I loved MW4 and always hoped for a new one.

I tried to fight my urge but then decided it was stupid to do so, as I would probably have spent the money here anyway, and then some. This way, I also get to invest in the game and hopefully help make the game better in some way; whether by my meager monetary contribution, or hopefully thuroughly testing.

I love MW, I make alot of money, and I wanted EA, and Activison to see where the cash that they will never get, go to someone that is not like the plague to the gaming world. Being drunk as hell with the 2AM virus did not hurt either.

Dont worry Borderlands 2 I have some saved for you too!!

I want to see the game succeed and show my support. I really didnt think another battletech game would be released and hopefully with the success of this, there will be future games.

Supporting a game that I have loved for so many years was my biggest reason.
Reason two is getting all of the mechs and not having to use garage space to store them.

I bought it to support the game development, as ell as provide a means to make the game more enjoyable to play, and allow myself to progress at a faster rate. I love beta testing and finding problems to fix in order to support and provide a better gaming experience for myself and the general game population at release. I played the TT version for years, so the game kinda hits home and brings back enjoyable memories :-) Can't wait for release...

My biggest reason for wanting to be part of this is that this is the first mech game where you have a reson to be in something under 80 tones

I love driving a big hitter but i also want to be able to jump in a light mech, be useful and have fun using different skills and tactics

the reson why wow was so successful is you had to have team work

if what i have read is right team work here will be just as important which will add sooooo much value and playability to this game
