A question though, may seem stupid...How much can you scale these up when 3D printing ?

Wow! Really impressed with how well the Warhammer turned out, kudos to you and your friend.
What process did you use to 3D print? Did you go through a third party, or print at home?

The models can be scaled up as large as I want, the difficulty is it's a direct scale so stuff like the gaps for panel lines become really huge. If I want to scale it up a lot and keep decent looking details I'd probably want to do a completely seperate mesh. Also as you go up in size the price for printing the models jumps very quickly as it's based in part on the volume of the model.
I outsouce the printing, none of the home printer units have the resolution to print stuff this small. The commerical printer i use has a machine that's around 60k to buy so it's well out of my price range. Once i have the printed part to use as a master I do the recasting in resin myself as it's way too expensive to print lots of individual models.

Absolutely beautiful models, nicely done =D Pick up where the other dudes left off awhile back and make a Mechwarrior mod for Men of war hahha.

i have that exact warhammer and riflemen in plastic model toy form, found them in the early 90s(91 i think) as a kid at a rummage sale (i was like12)
