I found a topic like this for Clan mechs which I generally prefer to pilot but I couldn't find an equivalent for IS mechs so I decided to make one (not sure if it's been done).

So what are our favourites?

For me the Highlander, Black Knight, Uziel and Hunchback.

I liked the Awesome 3 X PPC . Overheating would be bit of a problem though.

The wolverine is OK, but I feel it is a little undergunned.

it is but its a good harasser at least in the earlier ages

Well not only that, but that autocannon could make the Wolverine pilot very handy with sniping roles, though I would trade that for a PPC.

+1 for Rifleman. I know it supposedly not great for ground or mech combat, but I love the design. It looks like it means business.
