Hey guys, after a cursory search I couldn't find this, if there's a more appropriate place to put this please let me know so I can delete this thread (gotta keep things tidy, you know).

I was on the battletech.com looking at the gallery there (specifically wallpapers) and I found this.

Anyway, I think it's official, but it's not yet been posted on the official MWO website. If anyone find any more like it elsewhere, or has discovered other neat or interesting wallpaper, feel free to post here.

Enjoy!!

Nice! Hard to say what mech that is. Could be a redesigned Crusader? An Archer (I see the antenna up top) but I dunno. My eyes are too old or thats too far away?

Hmmmm, my first thought when I saw it was a dragon with a lower arm actuator.

The shoulders seem to box-like to be an Archer re-design, not sloped enough in the front. Certainly a good contender though.

Then it COULD be a Hunchback IIC cause the shoulder area seems symmetrical between both sides however I doubt it's a hunchback at all ;)

That's an Archer in the pic, isn't it?

Nope, nevermind, Hunchback.

I vote for the Grand Dragon as well, it seems to have one weapon mounted arm and a 'free' hand on the opposite side.

I don't know if I can see it better because I have a large monitor but it's definitely a normal IS Hunchback. I'll show you what I see and you can judge from there.

EDIT: You just won a convert, sir.

I'm still thinking fully-articulated dragon... I just dunno. Man I wish it was an Archer... I'm curious about the wreckage, too.

No its a Hunchback. The outocannon on one shoulder and the "ammonition backpack" (?) on the other side.

Yeah, what Andar89 said; I found the same when I zoomed pretty closely on it.

I think the wreckage is going to turn out to be an engine from an Overlord, sitting there for a few decades, worn by rain. The problem is, I don't see hardly any rust on it, so I can't be really sure. And, yeah, I really wish to see an Archer, as well. Remember, devs, you only need to change it by 10% for the work to be considered different, hehe.

Ooh, 702 posts... I really need to get a life, hehe. A job would be nice :P

Oh, Lord, I was just looking at it some more and, based on distance and the size of the 'Mech in comparison to the structure, that may actually BE an Overlord, not just an engine.

Overlord? Is it not formed like an egg? and the Union class is more like a Ball.
And this looks more tube formed oO

I also always wonder about the measurement... I mean when this is a drop ship, the mech seems a bit big to pack 15 or so inside a dropship.
