Arma Players from clans will be very dangerous opponents. We come from an open world sandbox game were small team tactics is the only way to play. We tend to be multirole mission specific warriors, who train in team work, and never play without TS. Just because we come from a FPS, it would be foolish to class us with COD or BF players.

LOL... all the vitriol, most shocking. It seems that people have some misconceptions regarding the meaning of my post.

To clarify, I have seen a lot of disparaging post about players from other games especially first person shooters. I was just pointing out that not all FPS games are the same.

With regard to my knowledge of the Mechwarrior Universe, I am amazed at the comments of some of the posters, their assumptions are unfounded and incorrect. I was around when FASA brought out the game, I remember being in games workshop in Richmond (one of my regular haunts in my youth), and i bought the game immediately. Furthermore, I used to play Mechwarrior and Mechwarrior 2 back in the day. Finally, I have read many BattleTech Novels... I lean towards the Clans due to their more honorable nature.

I hope that this has cleared a few things up Quiaff?

Saying you'll be dangerous in Mechwarrior because you're good in Arma is like saying you'll be awesome at Football because you're great at Baseball.
