I`ve heard of this practice amonst Dragoon jocks. Seems to be part of thier honor code or something......

It is because we have a sense of honor to abide by, unlike most other mercs.

We have a sense of honor to abide by, and a reputation to live up to. It's not like we have to TRY to live up to it, though.

We are but a mercenary company. Pay us, and we'll do your job. Meet us on the field of battle, you'll be picking what's left of your slag off the field. That is, after we've taken all the good stuff.
