I don't know about the rest of Team Steiner, but I think it might be in our interests (and in the spirit of the FedCom) to reach out to House Davion and build some good diplomatic links. In the storyline the 3040s are portrayed as fairly peaceful and prosperous for the Federated Commonwealth. As such maybe we could get some cross-pollination between the two sub-forums? There might not be a FedCom faction in MWO but I intend to stand by our comrades in the Federated Suns right up until 3057.

I was thinking about that, though more in terms of "If Houses Steiner and Davion are being treated as separate factions, then who gets control of the FedCom Regiments?"

But you're right: if the map's any indication, we could very well end up fighting alongside each other. Especially considering that, with long borders with the Confederation, the Combine and the FWL, we could have a huge number of Border/Faction worlds under threat of attack.

I'm particularly concerned about keeping those tricksy Capellans out of the Sarna March.

Well, even though we're officially the Federated Commonwealth, most people still associated strongly with their home nation. I have a feeling MWO is differentiating due to this fact.

Considering we each fought a different enemy on a different front during 4SW, that might not be the best example.

Still, this could work...provided Hanse doesn't attempt anything heavy-handed like he did in 3034.

I won't fight the gauntlet of Steiner, but a few practice skirmishes for training fun wouldn't be too bad
