But you're right: if the map's any indication, we could very well end up fighting alongside each other. Especially considering that, with long borders with the Confederation, the Combine and the FWL, we could have a huge number of Border/Faction worlds under threat of attack.
I'm particularly concerned about keeping those tricksy Capellans out of the Sarna March.
