I'm surprised to read the hate on this topic. The Artemis concept is actually what got me interested in this game. I became a Gold Founder with hopes that I could eventually get my hands on one. I've always loved high-end specialized controllers like this. I understand not everyone can afford them (sorry to hear that), but I can and I'd love one. Sign me up.

I'm using the Logitech G940 at the moment , for this. but will check out the concept when it's out, hopefully by the end of the year, I guess it depends on how well mechwarrioronline does.

1. They need to fix the joystick issues in-game first.
2. If the parts are not interchangable for a lefty - then no, I'll stck with a mouse and keyboard.

I use a razor nostromo and razor naga mouse and love them both. This is the second nostromo I have owned - the first still works I just wanted the next gen. I hardly use a keyboard for anything anymore for wot, wow, diablo - etc.
A force feedback joystick and mwo compatible would rock. I miss my old sidewinder ff joys.

I used to be a big fan of Razers products. But 3 yrs, and 3 DeathAdders later, not so much. Sent them an email concerning the issue (double clicks constantly on all 3), received a reply back that they were sorry I was having issues, but there was nothing they could do since they wouldn`t/couldn`t repair it and I would have to buy another. I had 3...not buying the 4th sorry.
As for the Artemis..nice concept, but too "nichey"(if thats a word lol) and I doubt you`ll ever see it. If you do, you can bet it`ll be 300+ USD since some of their items are 100+ USD.

I hate to say it but the Hawken controller seems to blow away Razers offering.

FWIW, both offerings will probably out of reach financially for most of us.
Ah well....

I actually like the looks of this better than what Razer is showing. Looks a LOT more solid.

Problem with Razer is that those guys have a legion of marketing guys and apperantly just a few overworked techs who try to keep up with the promises made by the marketing guys.
Case in point Tiamat Headset and SWTOR Keyboard.
Maybe you get lucky and they will actually have the Artemis in production by the time they promised but dont hold your breath.

Personally I'm more interested in the Hawken controller: http://mwomercs.com/...nd-comparisons/
I'm hoping to use it for mechwarrior. I like what Razers trying to do but I'm a lefty, and hawkens controller would work great.

I miss my Sidewinder FF too! I'd get this Razer offering, as long as it has a proper throttle - I don't see it in the publicity pics; does anyone have a clue?
