[Kaishaku]

In highschool I was a big fan of MTG and Mechwarrior card game. Never understood how crap like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon card games became popular but not Mechwarrior

Yeah I played it, it was actually pretty cool as far as CTGs went. Still have the cards in a box somewhere...

I still have a decent collection of it. My favorite deck was the Masakari Massacre. Basically had close to 20 Warhawks in it. Not very fast or practical as deck designs went, but still fun to play.

Once the mechwarrior/battletech bug bit, the poison ran deep. Yep, have many. Then when the local hobby store didn't have anymore ebay fed the hunger for a better deck. *pat shelf full of cards* Oh what a mighty Inner Sphere deck though...

I think I still have my cards somewhere. Placed 4th in the first Battletech TCG World Championships at GenCon with my Ryoken + Elemental Points deck.

Loved the game, but finding other people to play was always difficult. Wish they'd release a PC version just for old times sake.

Yeah good times. I played with my brothers as none of my MTG friends would touch it. I had a slick ComStar deck full of mercs vehicles light mechs with a few assaults mechs to add a bit of punch. Hope the Cerebus is in MWO.

BTW notice how most of the people that played the card game are founders ^^

are you talking about battletech? or is there a second mechwarrior ccg? If i remember correctly, the resource system was really complicated, and using your deck as your life was always a little confusing to me

Loved the game. Still have tons of decks and cards. Pity they wrecked it with too many expansions too quick.
