I definitely would suggest new players to use this tool. Ive learned alot in the 3 days that Ive been playing. They are good guys and very helpful as well as the meeting random people who are now friends and frequent teammates.

Hi everyone...
I love this game and have played from the MechWarrior series 1-4 and mercenaries
and now want to try the online version.
I hope in the online version is more exciting than the offline version.

New to MWO, only been playing for years the single player old games. Online version is great, but harder. The most exciting I have played so far.

I pair nicely with ECM users. Though I do keep some handy, I'm not usually an ECM user.

To view, go to Settings -> Keyboard -> Activate Module Slot 1 / 2. Module Slot 1 is the one on top when equipping modules.

It's Home & End respectively by the way.

Many of our experienced and skilled members are more than happy to set up some 1v1 coaching. We also record training and reevaulate later for further points. Our goal is to get you to a decent or better standard where you can then help others

This game is great, but sadly, does not offer simple, more elaborated practical operations to add new people to play regularly. Would not an in game general chat with rooms be a viable option? But for now, you have to quickly read the name of an unknown gamer and impersonally send him or her a request to be "friend". We just want good, eager to work as a team people to play, not what you get on about 50% of random games so far.

Click "Connections" and select "Connect" from the drop down menu

Insert "voip01.n1585.hypernia.net:9992" in the Server Address window, type in your in-game name in the Nickname window and "mechwarrior" in the Password window then click Connect.

This will take you to the NGNG Outreach TS server where you should find plenty of people online. Don't be shy about going to the Dropship sub-channels and asking if they have a slot open for another player.

This guide by Kin3ticX has the addresses for Comstar NA, Comstar EU and Mercstar TS servers at the end.

I will probably be on at that time - and I have premium time running for use in private matches as well
(if you or someone else does to fill out the other half of that bit)

I am not very good at group coordination - but I can teach basics (I hope )
