New Pilot here if you can't tell from my number of posts , old time BT and MW player though. Got me looking at my House Davion book and all the units I remember. Still have to say my favorites are any of the Deneb Light Cavalry, but the 7th Crucis Lancers and the Federated Suns Armored Cavalry kind of fits with my pilots name. Oh and bonus points if you can findout who I am named after.

Old Mechwarrior fan but a very new TT player here. I wasnt too savvy on particular House Units until I started to buy minis. The guy in the store (who told me he was a Kurita) asked me "what unit?" I had no clue how to respond. So I went looking on camospecs.com and sarna.net & I chose:

1st Armored Cav - I like the raiding and hit and run emphasis the unit has. Also an anti-cappellan emphasis was honestly a good sell as well.

I am in the process of painting up 2 lances of Davion Mechs in the OD green and off-white arrangement I see on many minis on camospecs.com.

I wasn't really 100% sure on what mechs to choose to make a very Davion force but I went with:
Firestarter
Javelin - Don't know anything really about it, after researching it seems to be the most "Davion" light I could find.
Centurion - Pretty sure this is spot on
Hunchback - same as above
Warhammer - Im under the impression many of the 3025 "unseen" mechs are kinda the "AK-47s" of the Inner Sphere, they are proliferated everywhere?
Cataphract - Know the Cappies cooked it up, but after the 4th Sucession War their **** is now ours
Victor - Pretty sure this one is spot on
Atlas - Couldn't think of a exclusive Davion Assault, I guess I inherited it from our Steiner cousins?

Did I screw up my choices? Were there better choices I could have made?

The HBK, CN9, WHM, and CTF (did this one the day after the launch party) are all painted. I'm hoping to have them all done around the holidays and put pictures up on the forums.

Hugo, her(?) name is "Cathy" (likely, as in "Catherine"), and she(?) is bearing a Lyran fist & is "living it up in a Tamar Throne room at an undisclosed location".
I'm pretty sure that (at this point, at least) Cathy probably wouldn't be siding with Prince Victor if/when things go south...

The Kell Hounds Turned yellow! They just don't have the stomach for regicide, and have sworn to erradicate that snake Catherine.
That said The Kell hounds are kind of an unofficial official unit in the Federated commonwealth as recognized by Hanse, they are the loyal opposition.

Any of the Davion Guards regiments. Crucis Lancers a close 2nd.

Depends on the era. For most eras I go with the Davion Heavy Guards. For the Star League era though hands down the Pitcairn Legion.
