I'd like to see a Cruisader (3L). In the abasense of the Archer, it's honestly my favorite Heavy. Granted, it doesn't have the longevity that a warhammer or marauder might, owing to being so reliant on missile reloads, but damn it it was an agile beastie.

I choose medium in the hopes of something with long range beam accuracy and a bit of mobility. Hopefully I can also stealth a bit with some electronic counter measure...... will see looks like this game is going to be awesome :P

I don't mean to buck the Lyran roleplay - I do enjoy me some Atlas - but mediums have always been special to me since MPBT: Solaris. Got to watch our friendly Commando's six o'clock.

Light Progression: Commando (with variants); Firestarter; Wolfhound

Medium Progression: Hatchetman (if possible); Griffon (variants cover a wide range of distances); Wolverine; Lynx

Heavy: Crossbow(fire support); Marauder(long)/Rifleman(short); Crusader(short)/Warhammer(long); Axeman(short)/Flashman(long);

Assault: Banshee, Battlemaster, Zeus, Atlas

I think this type of gameplay is bad. I dont want everyone just going light to assault. It should have multiple trees that dont link. so a light mech tree but you dont have to get this to go assault might just have tyo grind the money to get first assault.

I've selected a Mediu, 'cause I believe that Hause Steiner has power enough, but as some said, they'll probably start us all with lights.

I was about to vote Atlas, but decided to pull back and go Heavy. Still needs to be bigger than average, but we don't need Nooby McNoobinson in an Atlas.

let the noobs get atlas I need spare parts and all the xp I can get. I hope this doesn't become a "wallet warrior online" kind of game

I'm leaning towards medium/ heavy.
Wouldn't mind playing Cicada. Whatever you need I'm willing to help.

Actually think it would be fun playing an AgroBait, Extra JJ

Alright, damn it! Everyone who voted medium needs to quit the LCAF and go join Liao or something. It's enough to make me deny my birthright! :-)

While I understand your RL concerns, you do realize you are working for the deep pocket Steiners, right? :-)

Right now the commando is looking like a good compromise. I'm looking forward to themRaven but I don't think it will have the same punch.

Medium Mechs can be so versatile... it is the best place for new players to start and for balance reasons even for advanced players to begin!

I would like to see the following:
Light - Commando, Firestarter
Medium - Hatchetman, Griffin
Heavy - Crossbow, Axeman
Assault - Highlander, Zeus

I think they will go with kinda the same setup some racing games have. You get an amount of starting money and do with it what you like. Some mechs will be buyable, some will not be buyable (and since price is house dependent it's logical)
